Summer Lovin', Had Me A Blast!

Ian's family moved to Germany for three years for the Air Force. We had Marietti family pics taken before he left in April. I think we're a good looking bunch. My Dad would have made the picture that much better though. This was our first family picture without him. It makes me a little sad to look at it.

Jason celebrated his 36th birthday! He gets better and better each passing year! I love him!

These are my crazy kids swimming at night in 60'F weather. Do you notice the snow on the mtns? They couldn't wait to get in the pool! I'm taking the pic through the window, from my warm, cozy house!

Taylor ran for Student Body Officer at Wahlquist, and won!

A few weeks later, Cayden ran for 7th grade officer- and won! They'll be in student government together! I hope they will get along!

Cayden and his friends rocked out at the end of the school year talent show! He was really sad to be leaving elementary. Change is good, though, and he'll love Jr High just as much!

Jason has a job in Monticello, Utah, so we rode down with him to the job site and checked out Moab while we were there. Hannah had just gotten her casts off two weeks prior, so we weren't able to do much hiking.

Me and Kris took the kiddos to Bear Lake for a few days while our men stayed home and worked.

We spent a week at our house in Myrtle Beach catching some rays....

Then we headed down to FL to spend some time at the Happiest Place on Earth- Disney World. I'd like to rename it to the Hottest Place on Earth! It was super fun, but we will never go there in the summer again!

My kids favorite park was Epcot. We spent two out of our six days there. Cayden loved trying out his self-taught language skills at all the different countries! Too cute!

Wahlquist Student Government's float for the 4th of July parades. They won $40 for being the "Most Patriotic" float! Sweet!

Jason and Cayden spent six days up at Camp Loll. Mosquitoes and Snow.... that was the gist of it! Treasured memories!

Sometimes it's fun to have a hubby that has jobs going in any of the surrounding 10 states. This week, we decided last minute to join him on a road trip to Baker, Oregon. We took a little side trip once he was done with work and ended up rafting down the Main Payette River in ID. It was a fun experience! Our kids have never done river rafting before, and they loved it!
